NFL Picks: Futures Value & Preseason Predictions

NFL Weekly Line movement

Much like we did last season, we will be doing a weekly update on the opening NFL lines, as well as a review at the end of the week about where the lines have moved throughout the week. However, since the NFL regular season is still well over a month away, I will start out our series looking at some of the preseason odds, as well as some team total wins future odds. First, let’s look at my preseason game I have my eye on. 

Baltimore Ravens vs. Atlanta Falcons 

The Ravens started as +1 underdogs but have quickly moved to -1 favorites on the road. Even though this is a preseason game, I like the road favorites. I think the Falcons are very overrated, and I like the Ravens this season. The starters won’t play hardly at all, but that will be good for the Ravens. They have a solid bench and the Falcons do not. 

I also like the over in this game as well. The total is only set at 41 points, and I think all the new faces playing will help scoring. Defenses will be out of position, and I think there will be points scored. 

My Pick: Ravens -1 and OVER 41

Dallas Cowboys OVER 8.5 wins 

Atlanta Falcons UNDER 9 wins

New York Giants UNDER 9.5 wins

Philadelphia Eagles UNDER 10 wins 

Arizona Cardinals UNDER 7 wins

St. Louis Rams UNDER 6 wins
