Expect a low scoring affair Wednesday night when Marco Estrada and the Milwaukee Brewers (75-72 overall,29-43 away) take on Kyle McPherson and the Pittsburgh Pirates (74-73 overall, 42-31 home) in the second game of a three-game series from PNC Park in Pittsburgh, PA at 7:05 ET.
The posted total at Bookmaker Sportsbook is 8 for this contest with the current odds on the ‘under’ set at -115.
The Pirates have been a Cinderella story all year long, but don’t look now but it is the Brewers that are making a late-season playoff push! Milwaukee has now passed the Pirates in the standings by one game and the Brewers are just 2½ games behind the St. Louis Cardinals for the final wild card spot.
The Brewers moved past the Pirates by beating them for the fifth straight time this year 6-0 on Monday, marking Milwaukee 21st win in the last 27 games.
